Reliable Diligence (we, us or our) understands that protecting your personal information is important. This Privacy Policy sets out how we handle personal information we collect when you visit our website, use our advisory tools or assistant, or engage with us.
This policy takes into account the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles. Where you are located in New Zealand, the European Union or the United Kingdom, you may also have rights under the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020 or the GDPR / UK GDPR, which we respect.
The information we collect
- Identity and contact data — your name, work email address and organisation.
- Enquiry data — the details you share about your objectives, transaction, company, software, cloud or AI environment and timing.
- Company data — when you enter a work email, we use its domain to identify your organisation and draft a short public description of it, which you can edit or delete before submitting.
- Assistant conversations — messages you send to our website assistant are processed to answer you and help complete the enquiry form. Conversations are kept in your browser session only and are not stored by us.
- Technical data — basic information such as IP address, browser and pages visited, used for security, rate limiting and aggregated site analytics.
How we collect it
We collect personal information directly from you when you submit the enquiry form, use our advisory tools, chat with the assistant, contact us or engage us. We may also collect publicly available information about your organisation (for example from its website) to prepare for a conversation.
Why we use it
- to respond to your enquiry and scope an engagement;
- to generate the reports you request from our advisory tools;
- to follow up personally where it makes sense, which you can opt out of at any time;
- to operate, secure and improve our website; and
- to comply with our legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it to train AI models.
Artificial intelligence
Our assistant, advisory tools and company descriptions are produced with AI services operated on our behalf. The information you provide is sent to these services only to generate your response and is not used by us for model training. AI output is indicative and may contain errors — please review it before relying on it.
Disclosure
We share personal information only with service providers who help us run our website and business (such as hosting, database and AI processing providers), professional advisers, or where required by law. Some of these providers may store or process information outside Australia, including in the United States and Europe. We take reasonable steps to ensure they protect it consistently with this policy.
Storage and security
Enquiries are stored in a secured database with access restricted to the Reliable Diligence principals. We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access, and keep it only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law.
Cookies
We use only the cookies and browser storage needed for the site to work (for example, keeping your assistant conversation for the current session). We do not use advertising cookies.
Your choices: opt out, access, correction and deletion
You can ask us at any time to stop contacting you, to give you a copy of the personal information we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it. Complaints
If you have a concern about how we have handled your personal information, please email enquiries@reliablediligence.com.au or contact us through our contact page. We will respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied, you may contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
